# Create your account

> Register with a password and confirm your email using the eight-digit code.

You will need an email address you can access. If a teammate invited you, begin with the invitation link and use the email address that received the invitation.

    Open Moya and choose **Create account**. Enter your **Email**, **Full name**, **Password**, and **Repeat password**.

    Your password must have at least **12 characters**, **one uppercase letter**, and **one number**. Enter the same password in both password fields, then click **Create account**.

  <Step title="Confirm your email">
    Open the confirmation email from Moya. Return to the confirmation screen, or use the link in the email to open it, and enter the **eight-digit code**. Click **Continue**.

    Opening the email link takes you to the confirmation screen. You still need to enter the code.

  <Step title="Enter your workspace">
    After confirmation, follow the workspace setup screen or invitation shown to you. To create your own workspace, continue with [Set up your workspace](/user-guides/getting-started/workspace-and-years).

    If you were invited, accept the invitation to join your team's workspace. Creating your account alone does not accept the invitation.

## If confirmation does not work

    Check your spam folder and the email address shown on the confirmation screen. Choose **Resend** to request another code. If the button shows a countdown, wait until it becomes available.

  <Accordion title="My code is rejected or has expired">
    Use the code from the most recent confirmation email. If it still fails, choose **Resend** and enter the new eight-digit code.

  <Accordion title="I already have an account">
    Choose **Log in** and enter your existing email and password. Use the same email address as your invitation if you are joining a teammate's workspace.
