Create your workspace, add its first accounting year, and switch between years.
A workspace holds your organization’s records and team access. Each accounting year has its own purchases, sales, inventory, and activity records.

Create your workspace
After signing in to a new account, enter a Workspace name on the Create your workspace screen. Use a name your team will recognize, such as Acme Manufacturing. Click Create workspace.
You can create the workspace now and fill in its settings later.
If you are joining an existing workspace, accept its invitation instead.

Choose the first accounting year
The workspace opens behind the Set up your first accounting year dialog. Enter a four-digit year, such as 2026.The Reporting period dates are optional. To specify a range, fill in both From and To, with the end date on or after the start date. You can leave both blank.Click Create year to open that year’s Purchases table.
The accounting year is required; the reporting dates are optional.

Check the year before adding data
The current year appears near the top of the sidebar, under Accounting. Purchases and other records you add belong to this year.You can enter the purchase’s actual date, even if it falls outside the reporting range. The purchase appears in the accounting year you selected.
Open the three-dot Workspace options menu beside the year.
Choose Add accounting year.
Enter a new four-digit year and, optionally, its reporting dates.
Click Create year.
Choose a year that does not already exist in the workspace. If you do not have access to create one, ask an Admin.Product opening stock carries forward from the previous year’s closing stock when the next year is created. Review the opening balances in the new year’s Product Inventory before recording activity.
For an organization with legacy access, open Workspace options and choose Legacy workspace. The legacy workspace and the new year’s tables are separate.
