An organization-based PCF allocates emissions from your organization’s saved accounting data to the selected product. The source is a version of your accounting data. Moya calculates organization intensity in kg CO₂e per USD of output value, then applies the selected product’s average output price to calculate kg CO₂e per product unit. Review the saved sales, inventory values, and output quantities used by that version. Before you start, add the product and its accounting data, reconcile its production and consumption where needed, then save an accounting version. The version must be saved and read-only.

Open Create PCF

Open Company PCFs and select Create PCF.

Enter the details

Choose Restricted to approve individual organizations, or Public to make the PCF visible to other organizations. Check Accounting year, select Product, and enter PCF name. Select Continue.

Select Organization average

On Emissions, choose Organization average and select the saved Organization version you want to use.

Review and create

Check Allocated organization emissions, Allocated output quantity, and PCF value, including the denominator unit. Resolve any calculation error before selecting Create PCF.
If the product picker says there are no products in saved sources, save an accounting version containing the product first. Products in unsaved working data are not eligible. The Organization average PCF row without a named product is the organization’s average intensity. Creating a product PCF with the Organization average method produces a product-specific footprint from that saved organization source. Saving a newer accounting version does not silently replace the version selected by an existing PCF. Edit the PCF to choose a different source version.
